Test Flights, Instruction, Inspections
Ron Miller is a certified test pilot, instructor and Glasair pilot that flies planes of all sizes, from turbines to ultralights. He is certified CFI, multi engine, sea plane and A&P with lots of fast, high performance experience. He will travel anywhere to test, teach or deliver. From his Central Florida home base, Ron flies all over North America trasnporting and testing experimental aircraft, and giving instruction to new pilots on their custome built airplanes.

Ron administers tail wheel training in any tail wheel plane, however his "tailwheel" Rans is now equipped with floats. Call for an introductory rides with water based takeoffs and landings. "I will say - flying off water is the most flying fun I have had yet!!"
Landing on a Beach
An Australian beach resort was inquiring about having Ron fly a plane on the water and run up on the beach for an commercial advertisement. Now he is quite proficient at it, but the job never came through. "It's fun but, it is like doing a wheelie on a motorcyle, you don't have to, and it is a risk." But on the other hand, if he ever loses an engine and there is nothing but trees and water, he can probably slide across the water until he stops on land.
